Description

This beautiful potted sunflower ball point pen will be a hit with nature lovers. The pen barrel uses 5 different types of wood, a total of 13 pieces. The woods used are dyed green curly maple (the main barrel) dyed yellow basswood, pear wood, curly maple, and African Blackwood.

The parts are glued on the barrel brass tube with cyanoacrylate and hand turned on a lathe and sanded to final dimensions. The final process adds several coats of thin cyanoacrylate using a special technique and wet sanded with micromesh grades up to 12,000 grit for a shiny, durable finish and buffed with micro crystalline wax.

The pen components are plated in 24k Gold and Gunmetal to match the sunflower pen barrel.
