Description

This magnificent pen is always an eye catcher and ever popular and a super conversation starter!
It consists of an upper barrel portion made from blue stabilized basswood, laser cut to fit 50 stars and a barrel section made from red stabilized basswood laser cut to fit 7 waving stripes. The stars and 7 stripes are also laser cut from Basswood. Some of the pieces in this pen are quite small!

The stars and stripes are set in the barrel and held by rubber bands to secure them in place. Cyanoacrylate is applied to glue them permanently and mounted on the lathe and turned to final dimensions. It is sanded and finished with cyanoacrylate and wet sanded with micro mesh up to 12000 grit for a shiny finish.

The pen components are upgrade gold and chrome with a handy stylus tip.
